BEHIND THE COUNTER

Two things the shop will make for you. Both are free, both work as many times as you like, and you need neither an account nor the book to use them.

THE TOWN. Somewhere small. A name, the people who can be reached in one evening, what each of them does for a living, what each of them wants, and who they are to one another. Nobody in it knows anything and nobody in it is hiding anything. That's the raw material a film gets made out of.

THE RECORDING. A title with the blank still in it, a certificate, a catalogue number, a running time, and six scenes in the order they get shot. One scene a session. That's a film with no cast and no location yet.

Roll both and you have a campaign. The town supplies the people, the film takes them, and what happens in between is the game.

Print them, cross things out, write over them. That's what they're for.

THE TOWN

Everyone here can be reached in a single evening. Not one of them knows a thing.

THE RECORDING

Shot in this order, one scene a session. The blank in the title gets filled by wherever your players keep going back to.
